A spokesman for the diaspora group, Professor Osaze Idubor, told the leader of the aggrieved communities, Comrade Godwin Erhahon on Tuscany that the surveillance system will help to gather enough evidence to drag the Federal Government and the Military Authority to the International Court to answer charges for terrorism against peaceful law-abiding farmers and residents of the constituency.

He said this decision was reached following reports from leaders of the protesters who stormed the farm in Ugu Ward last week that soldiers in the farm resisted every attempt to capture them on cameras.

The Professor of Law in an American University said the fact that the soldiers who have been terrorizing and molesting residents and commuters in the area since 2022 are afraid to be captured on camera is sufficient evidence that they are aware that their presence in the farms is incriminating.

He said it was annoying to see that the Nigerian Army deployed such a huge number of armed soldiers on such unlawful and petty duties for this long, insisting that it was a serious indictment on both the Federal Government and its armed forces.

Professor Idubor hinted that they will notify the Federal Government before the weekend.

He assured that the surveillance will commence before December 6, 2025 as it will take them less than seven days to install.
