The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Edo State Council, has congratulated Dr. Patrick Akhere Ebojele on his appointment as Chief Press Secretary (CPS) to Governor Monday Okpebholo.
The Union described his elevation as a well-deserved milestone, reflecting his professionalism, experience, and longstanding service to the media industry.
In a congratulatory letter dated December 5, 2025, and jointly signed by the Chairman, Comrade Festus Alenkhe, and Secretary, Comrade Andy Egbon, the NUJ commended Governor Okpebholo for choosing a seasoned grassroots journalist.
The Council expressed confidence that Dr. Ebojele would bring clarity, balance, and efficiency to the Governor’s communication machinery.
The Union assured him of its cooperation as he assumes this critical role in Government House, wishing him success in strengthening the interface between the administration and the public, especially journalists in Edo state in particular and Nigeria in general.
