NEW YEAR: Maxwell Isima Salutes Igueben People

A frontline Chairmanship Aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), for Igueben Local Government Council of Edo State, Mr. Maxwell Isima, has urged every well-meaning Igueben indigenes happy New Year and to remain steadfast as we enter year 2026 of Edo Local Government Council Election to elect good leadership to pilot the affairs of the council.

Maxwell Isima made this remarks in his New Year message he personally signed and made available to newsmen earlier today.

He urged all members of the APC, the teeming supporters of the party and all well-meaning Igueben indigenes to remain irrevocably committed and focused on the unified government of His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, the Executive Governor to continue his quest for a better Edo State.

Part of the message read: “I want to use this opportunity to felicitate with every well-meaning indigenes of Esanland particularly Igueben people Happy and a Prosperous New Year.

“I also want to use the opportunity of this New Year celebration to appreciate every well-meaning Igueben people who have remained resolutely committed to the pursuit of peace and unity across the local government area.

“I humbly call on all eligible voters who have registered to go and collect their PVC’s without further delay because it is the only instrument to bring back the much needed dividends of democracy the good people of Igueben are yearning for.

“As we enter the year 2026 – the much awaited year of Edo Local Government Council Election, I humbly urge every son and daughter of Igueben to be resolute in my quest to be number citizen of the Local Government Council so as to usher in a new era of hope to better the lives of the downtrodden and bridge the gap between the rich and poor in our local government area.

“God bless the good people of Igueben local government areas, God bless Edo State, God bless Federal Republic of Nigeria.”
