APC Chairmanship Aspirant, Maxwell Isima Commends Gov Okpebholo Over Fight Against Insecurity in Edo

A frontline Igueben local government council chairmanship aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Maxwell Isima has commended the Executive Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo over his fight against insecurity in the State.

Just as he extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of those who have lost their lives in captivity and expressed profound sympathy for the victims of the recent wave of kidnappings.

Isima made the assertions in a press statement he personally signed and made available to journalists in Benin, the state capital today.

According to him, “It is worthy to note that our amiable Governor of Edo State, His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo is not sleeping in tackling the insecurity across the three senatorial district of the state.

“Governor Okpebholo is extremely concerned about these sad developments and he is actively collaborating with relevant security agencies to deal decisively with this issue which is not peculiar to Edo State alone.

The Igueben local government chairmanship aspirant  maintained that government remains superior to criminal entities noting that non-state actors cannot and will not overwhelm the Okpebholo-led government, state security, or national security architecture in the state.

While charging the good people of Esanland to remain strong, brave, and vigilant across every nook and cranny of the senatorial district, Mr. Isima emphasizing that collective resilience is required to defeat the enemies of the Esanland and Edo State at large.

He appealed to traditional rulers, religious leaders, and community heads across Esanland to intensify efforts in enlightening the public on basic security awareness urging them to lead the charge in intelligence gathering so that vital information can be promptly relayed to security agencies for swift action.

While condemning the attacked on the palace of the Onojie of Ekpoma Kingdom, Maxwell Isima commended the Executive Chairman of Esan West local government council, Hon. Albert Ebhodaghe for his proactive steps at imposing curfew across Esan West local government area of the state.
