Hon. Ilaboya Congratulates Iyamu, Audu On Appointments

…Says Gov Okpeblolo has made the right choices

The immediate past Executive Chairman of Owan West Local Government Area of Edo State, Hon. Frank Ilaboya, has joined million of Edolites to congratulate Dr. Emmanuel Paddy Iyamu and Hon. Gani Audu on their appointments as the Executive Chairman of the State Universal Education Board (SUBEB) and Chief of Staff to the Governor respectively.

In a press release signed by his Media Aide, Ohis Asein, the former Chairman of the Edo State Football Association said the appointment of the duo Dr. Paddy Iyamu and Hon. Audu did not come to him as a surprise because of their wealth of experience in the political ecosystem of Edo State and Nigeria as a whole.

“I am not surprised about their appointments because they are some of the best hands Edo State can boast of. You can see the applause and joy within the political landscape when their appointments were announced, that tells a whole story.

“I want to therefore join millions of other Edolites to congratulate my good friends, Dr Paddy Iyamu and Hon Audu on their richly-deserved appointment.

“To me, there’s no better choices for these positions as their antecedents in the political ecosystem in Edo State and beyond speak volumes.

“Hon. Gani Audu and I have been close during his days under the Comrade Adams Oshiomhole administration. He is down to earth but yet simple and approachable. I thank His Excellency for making the former Edo State House of Assembly Member his Chief of Staff. The Audu I know will bring his wealth of experience to bear on the job in a refreshingly different style,” Ilaboya added.

The ace sports administrator also has nice words for the newly appointed SUBEB boss.
“I worked at close quarters with Dr. Paddy Iyamu for the first time as a member of the Edo State Inauguration Committee where he served as the Secretary. He was always there to attend to the needs of everyone despite the huge pressure associated with his role.

“Honestly, I have no doubt that Dr. Iyamu, with his vast experience in politics and other administrative fields, will deliver well on his new role. He is well grounded and one of the most refined minds in Edo State politics I have met in recent times.

“As a sports lover, he was one of the major supporters behind the huge success we recorded with the AKPAKOMIZA & Friends Novelty Match organised to usher in the new Governor on November 1Oth.

“I want to wish him and other appointees well in their new roles as we look forward to better days under the administration of Governor Monday Okpeblolo,”
