Edo Deputy Speaker Salutes EDHA Lawmakers At Christmas

Deputy Speaker of the Edo State House of Assembly (EDJA), Rt. Hon. (Mrs.) Maria Omozele Oligbi-Edeko, has congratulated the Speaker of the House, Rt Hon. Blessing Sheriff Agbebaku and other honourable members of the 8th Assembly on the occasion of Christmas celebration.
Edeko, in a Christmas message to the House noted that 2024 has been a year of challenges, triumphs, and growth for the Edo House of Assembly.
She stated that through spirited debates and collaborative efforts, members have demonstrated that unity, integrity, and service are the pillars of legislative accomplishments.
According to her, “As we celebrate this season of joy, peace, and goodwill, I extend my warmest Christmas greetings to you and your families.
“This is a time to reflect on the year gone by and to renew our shared commitment to the people of Edo State, who have entrusted us with the sacred duty of enacting good laws & proper representation.”
Going further, Deputy Speaker Edeko noted that Honourable members the unwavering dedication to the development of our dear state is truly inspiring.
As we celebrate, let us remember the less privileged among us, the displaced, and those who look to us for hope and progress. May we renew our commitment to fostering policies that uplift, empower, and unite our people.
“May this festive season bring you and your loved ones abundant joy, good health, and divine blessings. As we look ahead to a new year, may our collective resolve to build a prosperous and harmonious Edo State remain unshaken.
