Edo Dep Speaker celebrates Ex-Foreign Affairs Minister, Chief Tom Ikimi @ 81

The Deputy Speaker of Edo House of Assembly (EDHA,), Rt. Hon. (Mrs) Maria Omozele Oligbi-Edeko has congratulated Chief Tom Ikimi, former Minister of Foreign Affairs, on the occasion of his 81 birthday anniversary.
In a statement issued on Thursday in Benin, Edeko said Ikimi’s life has been one of remarkable service, not only to Edo State but to Nigeria at large.
She noted that as a former Minister of Foreign Affairs and a pivotal figure in Nigeria’s political history, his legacy of leadership, courage, and dedication continued to inspire generations.
“On behalf of the Industrious people of Esan North-East constituency 11, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to a distinguished elder statesman, Chief Tom Ikimi, on the joyous occasion of your 81st birthday.
“Your life has been one of remarkable service, not only to Edo State but to Nigeria at large.
“At 81, your wisdom, integrity, and unyielding commitment to nation-building remain a guiding light to many of us in public service.
“We are proud of your contributions and grateful for your continued mentorship and presence in our political journey.
“May this new chapter of your life be filled with good health, peace, and more impactful moments. Congratulations once again, Sir, and happy birthday.
