Good Friday Message: Edo Central Senatorial Aspirant, John Yakubu Peaches Unity, Love To Nigerians

A frontline Edo Central Senatorial Aspirant on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the forthcoming by-election, Hon. John Yakubu extends his warm greetings to the people of Edo Central Senatorial District, Edo State and all Nigerians globally on the occasion of Good Friday.
Yakubu, in a statement on Friday made available to journalists in Benin City, Edo State capital to commemorate the Good Friday, said Good Friday reflects Christ love for mankind and emphasized the need for compassion and unity in our daily activities as we celebrate the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The former Esan North-East local government council chairman tasked Nigerians to consistently reflect on the profound sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ on this day.
He noted that Good Friday is celebrated globally to appreciate Christ Jesus’s sacrifice for man, particularly his love, selflessness and redemption.
Yakubu prayed for God’s protection and asked for peace, progress and unity among Edo people and the Nigerians across country.
“May this season strengthen our collective resolve to build a better future for all Edo Citizens and Nigerians.
“On this solemn occasion of Good Friday, I, Hon. John Yakubu joins Christians across the state, nation, and the world in reflecting on the profound sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. As Christians, let’s emulate the core virtues and sacrifices of Christ Jesus in this period and beyond.
“Edo state and Nigeria can be great again if we all show love to each other and unite to promote peace, unity, and progress as one body in Christ because Good Friday is a reminder of God’s love, selflessness, and redemption.”
