Fathers’ Day: Hon. John Yakubu Pays Tribute To Fathers

A frontline Edo Central Senatorial Aspirant under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. John Yakubu has paid tribute to Edo State fathers particularly fathers in Edo Central on the occasion of Fathers Day celebration.

In the personal message of felicitation signed by Hon. Yakubu and made available to newsmen, the former Chairman of Esan North-East Local Government council Chairman pay tribute to fathers for their immense contributions to societal development, holding the family unit together amid the hardship occasioned by the prevailing economic realities.

According to him, “Despite the economic difficulties, fathers have remained strong pillars of support in the family, toiling daily to make ends meet while juggling roles such as mentor, leader, protector, provider, and breadwinner. They deserve to be celebrated.

“On this auspicious day set aside to acknowledge their gallantry, sacrifice, love, and resilience, we celebrate our fathers and assure them that if emerged the next senator to represent Edo Central Senatorial District at the Red Chambers of the National Assembly, my support to deliver on their duties on the home front with dignity will be one of my priority.”

“l urge fathers, as the family’s reflective mirrors to imbue in their children the right values and character so as to ensure peace, stability, and harmony in Esanland in particular and Edo State at large.
