Oligbi-Edeko Felicitates With Muslims in Edo On Eid-el-Kabir

The Immediate Past Deputy Speaker, Edo State House of Assembly (EDHA), Rt. Hon. (Mrs.) Maria Omozele Oligbi-Edeko, has extends her warm greetings and heartfelt wishes to Muslim brothers and sisters in Esan North-East Constituency II, Edo State and as well as across Nigeria as they mark this year Eid-el-Kabir.
In a statement she personally signed and made available to newsmen in Benin, the state capital, Rt. Hon. Oligbi-Edeko acknowledged the sacred festival that honours the obedience, faith, and sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim and reminds us of unity, compassion, humility, and steadfast devotion.
According to her, “At this critical time in our state and nation, let us draw deeply from the spiritual significance of Eid to find strength, hope, and shared understanding.
“May this Sallah celebration inspire us all to uphold peace, embrace unity, and support one another, regardless of religious, political, or ethnic backgrounds or affiliations.
“To our Muslim faithful, continue to live out the virtues of piety, sacrifice, and service beyond this season. Let these principles guide your daily walk with humanity.
“May your prayers, sacrifices, and offerings be accepted by Almighty Allah.”
She noted: “As your representative in Edo House of Assembly and advocate for justice and inclusion, I remain committed to the sustainable growth and inclusive development of our dear constituency in particular and Edo State at large.”
