We, the over sixty thousand farmers in Orhionmwon South Constituency of Edo State, hereby urge Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo to FastTrack the process of his planned probe of the series of injustices done to the poor and weak citizens of the state by his predecessor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki.

We submit that failure to probe the defunct Obaseki ‘s administration will tantamount to sentencing the victims and  their future generations to continuous poverty and suffering .

May God protect our masses-friendly governor as he moves to rescue those of us who elected him based on his vow to rescue us from Obaseki’s exploitation, if elected.

We the farmers in Orhionmwon South will not be happy with both Governor Okpebholo and our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) if he fails to return to us, our farmlands which former Governor Obaseki and his cronies forcefully and cunningly seized from us.

This is so because we voted massively for the APC relying on the campaign vow by Senator Monday Okpebholo to return our land to us if we voted him.

To renege on his vow after we have elected him will be an unforgettable offence against us the poor farmers and our God.

He shouldn’t yield to the induced pressure from those who want him to shift the goal posts after we have scored the ball.

That would amount to helping the oppressor to sustain his strangle hold on us his innocent victims.

This is unacceptable!

His Excellency is hereby informed that we are ready with our Memorandum to his proposed probe panel.

We commend Distinguished Senator Adam’s Oshiomhole for his call for the probe of the suspicious investments of Mr. Godwin Obaseki.
