PDP Constitutes Campaign Council for Edo Central Senatorial Bye-Election

In furtherance of preparations for the forthcoming Edo Central Senatorial District bye-election scheduled for August 16, 2025, the Edo State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has constituted a Campaign Council to lead the party’s efforts toward victory.
According to a press statement signed by Chris Osa Nehikhare, State Publicity Secretary, Edo PDP Caretaker Committee, the Campaign Council is chaired by Senator (Engr.) Clifford Ordia, a seasoned politician and two-term Senator who previously represented the good people of Edo Central Senatorial District.
The statement added that the composition of the Campaign Council is as follows:
“Rt. Hon. Joe Edionwele, Director-General, Operations
Former Chairman, Esan West Local Government and two-term member, House of Representatives (Esan West, Esan Central, and Igueben Federal Constituency).
Others are Barr. Lawson Ogedengbe, Member, Dedicated member of the PDP, Hon. Patrick Iluobe, Member, Former member, Edo State House of Assembly (Esan North-East Constituency 1 ), Hon. Victor Emonvon, Member, A grassroots mobilizer, Matthew Evbhotemen, Member, Party Chairman, Esan Central , Clifford Inegbedion, Member, Party Chairman, Esan North-East Local Government, Lawrence Odiaze, Member Party Chairman, Esan South-East Local Government and Ikhajangbe A. Andy, Member, Party Chairman, Esan West.
Going further, the statement further added that Liberty Ogboh, Member, Party Chairman, Igueben Local Government Area, Blessing Azeilomen, Member, Senatorial
Woman Leader, Philo Ihenyen, Member, Grassroots Mobilizer and former Special Adviser to the Governor, Maria Edeko, Member, Member of the Edo State House of Assembly representing Esan North-East II, Okonofua Herberta, Member
