With a strong commitment to safety and ethical conduct, the Management of Rubber Estates Nigeria Limited recently celebrated HSE/Ethics Day 2025, renewing its dedication to creating a secure and principled workplace.
The event, held on Thursday 4th of December 2025, at the company’s waterside site, Ogun State, under the theme “Safety and Integrity, Our Shared Responsibility,” drew a diverse group of staff members together, emphasizing their collective pledge to uphold these core values.
The celebration unfolded under the inspiring theme, “Safety and Integrity: Our Shared Responsibility” reflecting RENL’s ethos of fostering a culture where every employee feels accountable for promoting a safe and ethical work environment. This theme highlighted the importance of collaboration and vigilance in ensuring that safety protocols and ethical standard are not only understood but actively practiced by all personnel.

In her address, the Procurement Manager and Representative of the Managing Director, Toyin Temitope, underscored RENL’s unwavering focus on transparency, respect and accountability. She articulated the critical role that each employee plays in upholding these values encouraging them to remain vigilant and committed to both safety and ethical conduct. She emphasized that these principles are not merely guidelines but essential components in sustaining the company’s growth and success in a competitive market.
To reinforce this message, the program featured a series of in-depth discussions, interactive sessions, and engaging activities designed to strengthen a culture of safety and responsibility among employees. These activities included drama presentation, question and answer, and presentation of Two Hundred Naira to occupants who won the neatest block in each camp.
As the event concluded, it became evident that HSE/Ethics Day is not only a celebration of current achievements but also a reaffirmation of the company’s long-term vision. As RENL’s commitment to fostering a safe and ethical work environment is pivotal to ensuring that safety and integrity remain not just a priority, but a shared responsibility among all employees.
