A frontline Chairmanship Aspirant on the platform All Progressives Congress (APC) in the 2026 Igueben Local Government Council Election, Maxwell Isima has reiterated his resolute commitment to building a vibrant and inclusive local economy driven aim at reducing the unemployment, empowerment the downtrodden to become economically self-reliance.
Maxwell Isima made the assertions during interactive sections some journalists in Benin City.
Speaking to journalists on his development visualization for Igueben Local Government Area, Maxwell Isima popularly called “Mr. Philanthropist” for his benevolence stressed that reducing unemployment and fostering economic self-reliance among the good people of Igueben remains a top priority of his agenda when become the Executive Chairman of the local government come 2026 Edo State Local Government Council.
“Sustainable development is not possible without empowering the people to create wealth and contribute meaningfully to the local economy.
“My team as Igueben LGC Boss goal is simple but strategic – to reduce unemployment through skill development, entrepreneurship support, and access to microcredit schemes that will enable our people to become economically self-reliant.”
Going further, the young Igueben business man, philanthropist cum politician clarified that his leadership outline focuses on harnessing local resources, promoting small and medium-scale enterprises, and partnering with relevant institutions to attract investment and job opportunities to Igueben. He believes that when the people are empowered, the entire community thrives.
“We will prioritize vocational training, youth empowerment, and agricultural entrepreneurship to stimulate growth from the grassroots. The future of Igueben depends on the productivity of its people, and we are ready to create the conducive environment for every resident to prosper,” Isima added.
