The Department of State Services (DSS) allegedly stormed a school to arrest Mrs. Nkechi Agatha Okereke, proprietress of Intel Private School and Intel West End College, possibly due to her husband’s alleged connection toIndigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), which is being investigated by the security agency.
According to a source, the incident involving DSS operatives allegedly swooping into Mrs. Nkechi Agatha Okereke’s school in Lagos occurred on November 30, 2023 between 9-10am.
DSS operatives allegedly raided the school of Mrs. Nkechi Agatha Okereke, wife of Godwin Obichukwu Okereke, proprietress and chairman of Intel Group of Schools, located at 108 Oworoshoki Road, Oworoshoki, Lagos State.
The DSS has previously denied allegations of storming the school to arrest the proprietress, stating they operated within democratic ideals and follow procedures for arrests.
It was however gathered that the DSS officers came to the school in a commando style and whisked away Mrs. Okereke which caused palpable tension in the school vicinity as a result of the arrest because the staff and students were confused and had to run for safety.
However as at the time of filing the report, no information has come out from the head of DSS on the reason behind the arrest of the school proprietress.
