The Edo State Government wishes to inform the general public, particularly eligible youths across the State, that the ongoing recruitment exercise into the Nigerian Army is still in progress.
In line with the State Government’s commitment to supporting qualified indigents, all interested applicants are hereby advised to forward their names and relevant details to the Office of the Honourable Commissioner for Public Security and Safety for proper documentation and guidance.
Applicants are strongly warned to be vigilant and avoid falling victim to fraudsters. The recruitment process into the Nigerian Army is strictly based on merit and is free of charge. No individual, group, or agent has been authorized to collect money or any form of gratification on behalf of the government or the Nigerian Army.
The Edo State Government reiterates that anyone found demanding or offering bribes in connection with this exercise will be reported to the appropriate authorities and prosecuted in accordance with the law.
Prospective applicants are therefore encouraged to follow only official procedures and channels as provided by the Nigerian Army and the Edo State Government.
Applicants should have a Minimum requirement of school certificate and age between
18-26 for advertised positions with trade background such as electricians, plumbing, carpenters, mechanics etc
