Rev. Omobude who spoke to Journalists in Benin City, capital of Edo State, enjoined all Nigerians irrespective of their ethnic, religious or political affiliations to continuously pray for Nigeria and also engage in productive activities that would enhance the wellbeing of the country.

“For Nigeria to be greater, well-meaning Nigerians irrespective of their status must be genuinely united and live in harmony with one another, making sure they’re their brothers’ keeper.

“It’s true that we are not where we expect we should be but putting our total trust on God and working together for peace, unity and progress of the country, there is hope that God will divinely intervene and turn things around for our good.

Rev. Dr. Omobude who is the General Supreretendent of the Gospel Light International Ministries (GLIM) – New Covenant Gospel Church (NCGC) with headquarters in Benin City, told Nigerians not to give up on the country, assuring that God is interested in the affairs of our nation.

Christian clerics expected at the 7-day convention slated for 25th-31th October, this year, include the immediate past National President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, Apostle Lawrence Achudume, Rev. Dr. John Aniemeke, Pastor Kingsley Ike, Mercy Chinwo, the hosts, Rev. Dr. Felix & Pastor (Mrs.) Abiola Omobude, amongst others.

He further disclosed that several thousands of great clerics and prayer warriors drawn from across Nigeria, Africa, America and Europe will engage in fervent prayers for the well-being of Nigeria as a nation and Nigerians as a people.

“The convention of this year is very unique considering the situation the world has been going through for nearly two years running, but the good news is that our God is set to bring peace and joy unspeakable to the people of the world.

“It is our expectation that there shall be abundance of messages of salvation, harvest of miracles, signs and wonders, even as we have God’s assurance that the lame will walk, the blind will see, the deaf will hear, the captives set free as well as spiritual and physical healing for our nation,” Dr Felix Omobude added.
