PDP Chieftain Charges Council Chairmen On Accountabilities

The Managing Director, Avo-Pogee and Company Nigeria Limited and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Chieftain in Edo State, Elder Peter Otamere Eguavoen has charged the new Edo State Local Government Executives to be accountable, responsible and responsive in administering the affairs of their respective locality.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Benin City, Edo State capital, Elder Eguavoen specifically urged them to commence grading of earth roads, provide portable bore hole water, electricity and clearing of refuse in the various side drains in their respective areas.
He lauded the efforts of the State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki and the State Commissioner of Police for their efforts in fighting crime and criminality in the State, as he equally urged the Federal and State Government to ensure that the people enjoy portable water and good access roads.
The amiable retired Army (Capt.) appeal to the Inspector General of Police (IGP) to use his good offices to withdraw his officers and men from the VIPs, government officials, as well as politicians throughout the country so as to make way to have more responsible numbers of security officers for fighting crime, adding that as Ex-servicemen/women they are ready to assist the State Government in fighting crime if given the opportunity to serve.
The retired Army officer therefore advice the Federal, State, Local Government to introduce the price control board to activate the price of commodities and all other areas of food and clothing materials across board such as hotels, restaurants as well as transport as this will reduce cost of all commodities in the country.
The elderly father who commended the good job of the Executive Chairman of Egor Local Government Council, Hon. Eghe Ogbemudia for her good job in the Council Area especially in the area of environmental sanitation.
