Edo Dep. Speaker Edekor Felicitates Muslims On Eid-el-Kabir

The Deputy Speaker, Edo House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. (Mrs) Maria Omozele Oligbi-Edeko, has felicitated Muslims in the state, particularly in Esan North-East constituency II as they celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.
Edekor also specially wish the Chief Imam of Benin Central Mosque, Alhaji Abdulfatai Enabulele a happy celebration.
In a statement in Benin City, Oligbi-Edeko urged Islamic faithful to emulate Prophet Muhammed by imbibing the ideals of sacrifice exemplified by the holy prophet.
The deputy speaker who commended Muslims for their unflinching support for the Governor Godwin Obaseki-led administration charged them to allow the lessons of humility, sacrifice, love and selflessness continue to guide them in their daily life.
While urging Muslims in the state to pray for the success of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate and his deputy, Barr. Asue Ighodalo, and Barr. Osarodion Ogie, in the forthcoming governorship election, said Ighodalo and Ogie would ensure overall development of the state.
