10 Journalists Benefit From Edo Health Insurance Scheme, Courtesy Victoria Amu

Former Senior Special Assistant (SSA) on Social Mobilization under Comrade Adams Oshiomhole administration, and former Governorship Aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state, Dr. Victoria Omua Amu has enrolled 10 Edo State journalists in the state Health Insurance Scheme as Coordinator.
This initiative is part of the Asue/Ogie Health Initiative Pilot Program, aims to provide quality healthcare to journalists, particularly those from private media organizations without existing health insurance coverage.
The selected journalists, representing various print, online and electronic media houses, will benefit from comprehensive health coverage, ensuring access to proper medical care when needed.
This gesture underscores the importance of good health in supporting the well-being and sustainability of journalists as they carry out their duties, especially during the upcoming state governorship election.
The beneficiaries have expressed gratitude for Dr. Amu’s kindness, acknowledging the vital role of good health delivery in their daily work.
This Health Insurance Scheme, fully sponsored by Dr. Victoria Omua Amu, promises to provide seamless access to quality healthcare facilities for the enrolled journalists.
