Ohen-Osa Edebiri has urged worshipers to serve God and humanity in truth so as to attracts the earthly and heavenly coverage of God.
He gave the advised as His Royal Majesty, Omo N’ Oba N’Edo, Uku Akolokpolor, Oba Ewuare II, Oba of Benin Kingdom concluded 2021 Annual Igue Festival with a thanksgiving to God Almighty and ancestors at the Holy Aruosa Cathedral, Akpakpava Road, Benin City, Edo state capital.
In his sermon, the Head Priest of Benin National Church of God, Ohen-Osa Igbinoghoduwa Edebiri posited that obedience to constituted authorities especially the Benin monarch attracts great blessings of Almighty God.
The senior cleric of Benin foremost church explained that deligent in obedience and service to assigned authorities is parts of the requirements to attain heaven at the end of this life.
He said the Benin monarch and other constituted authorities are God’s representatives on earth, and as such everyone should be contented with them in service and obedience.
Prayers were offered for peace, unity and development of Edo state and Nigeria at large.
Oba Ewuare II was accomplished to Holy Aruosa Cathedral by his children, family members, top palace chie, functionaries, district heads of various villages including priests and priestesses of different deities. The Oba was received in a large ovation by the congregation.
