Agba Praises Alenkhe’s Unparallel Contribution To Investigative Journalism In Nigeria
…Condoles with him over mother’s demise

The Minister of States, Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Agba, has described the Edo State Council Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Comrade Festus Alenkhe, as a source of pride to our dear State and nation, Nigeria on account of his unparalleled contributions to the development of investigative journalism in Nigeria.
This remark was contained in a condolence message issued and signed by the Hon. Minister and made available to newsmen on the passing away of the Matriarch of the Alenkhe’s family, Mrs. Rose Akuogbe Alenkhe.
Part of the message reads, “It is with deep sympathy that I commiserate with you over the recent passing of your beloved mother, Mrs. Rose Akuogbe Alenkhe at the age of 76 years. I share in your grief and hereby offer sincere condolences”.
“Despite the vicissitudes of life, your mother was very well known for the unmatched love she showed to all her children as well as for her leadership and commitment to community development. Her death is therefore not a loss to you alone but to her community and the entire State”.
“May you draw strength and be comforted by the fact that your mother lived a memorable life, including grooming someone like you who has become a source of pride to our State and the nation on account of your unparalleled contributions to the development of investigative journalism in Nigeria.
“I hereby extend my deepest condolences to you and your family at this time of grief and I pray God to grant you the fortitude to bear this irreparable and irreplaceable loss.”
