INEC Chairman, Yakubu Meets Peter Obi’s Legal Team, Assures Full Cooperation In Quest For Justice

Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC), Prof. Mahmood Yakubu has assured the legal team of the Labour Party (LP) that the Commission will provide all the documents it requested for to prosecute its case.

Mahmood gave the assurance today when the Labour Party Legal Team were at the Commission’s headquarters at the Federal Capital Territory,Abuja to discuss the modalities for obtaining the documents.

According to INEC, “the Commission has nothing to hide. Documents available at the HQ will be given immediately. We are meeting with Resident Electoral Commissioners today and we will discuss how other documents at the state level could also be made available to you speedily.
