Health Of Nigerian Olympic Medalist, Wilson Oruma Deteriorates

Health of Nigerian Atlanta 1996 Olympic Medalists Former and ex-International footballer, Wilson Oruma is deteriorating and is presently lying critical in hospital bed.
It was gathered by The9jaTREND Sports reporter that Wilson Oruma who retired in 2006 was duped of his life savings while trying to venture into business.
Nigerians and ex-internationals are worried about the former player’s current health status as he battles to survive.
A report had it that the Atlanta 1996 Olympic Gold medalist was on a drip and snoring on his sick bed while receiving treatment.
Oruma was instrumental as Nigerian powered their way through to the semi-final of the Olympic Games in 1996 before beating Brazil and then Argentina to claim gold.
He consequently suffered emotional trauma, and at some point, former president of the Nigeria Football Federation Amaju Pinnick made efforts to assist the ex-international.
It was gathered that Pinnick, who is a FIFA Executive Council member, paid his outstanding hospital bills at that time and relocated him to a better-equipped one in his bid to rehabilitate him.
