Azemhe Azena Salutes Oba Ewuare II As Chancellor, NOUN

A foremost governorship aspirant in the upcoming election in Edo state, Dr Azemhe Azena has felicitated with the His Royal Majesty, Omo N’Oba N’Edo, Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II, Oba of Benin Kingdom on his recent appointment as the Chancellor of the National Open University of Nigeria, (NOUN) by the outgoing President Mohammadu Buhari.
In a press statement personally issued and signed by Pastor Azemhe Azena made available to newsmen in Benin City described His Royal Majesty’s appointment as not only well-deserved, but also a clear evidence of the high esteem that the Federal Government holds the great Oba of Benin Kingdom.
The governorship aspirant disclosed that, Oba Ewuare II’s appointment was also in recognition of the significance place, that Benin and Edo State occupied in the affairs of the country, as the ‘Heartbeat of the Nation’, and acknowledged the President Muhammadu Buhari for the honour done, to the revered Monarch.
Pastor Azena who pastored a mega modern wave-making church hails, from Okpella in Etsako East Local Government Area in Edo North senatorial district of Edo state pray to our God Almighty to grant His Royal Majesty the wisdom, insight, grace and excellent health to deliberate and brainstorm on the activities of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) and to take it to a greater heights.
