CHILDRENS DAY: Dr. Azena Felicitates With Children Across The World

A foremost governorship aspirant in the upcoming election in Edo state, Dr. Azemhe Azena has felicitated with the Children in Edo state, Nigeria and the world in general, on the occasion of the celebration of the 2023 Childrens Day ceremony.
Dr. Azena in his message issued and released to the media, in Benin city, Edo state described children as the future of any society, asserted that, any responsible government must take children’s affairs seriously in order to nurture and produce sound worthy successors to the present generation of adults.
The governorship aspirant extolled the initiative and concept of the federal Government in making the ‘Child Rights Act.’
He equally expressed regret over children on our streets that involved in street trading and begging, and called on the Edo State government to ensure that out-of-school children irrespective of their background, religion and status are sent to school to learn.
Azena therefore called for the quick and speedily implementation of the provisions of the Act in Edo state.
He expressed worry and pain about the harsh economic circumstances in Nigeria that has made it impossible for parents to take care of their children, and called for a complete overhaul of the country’s economic policy to guarantee citizens a better prosperous future.
Pastor Azemhe Azena stated that, if given the opportunity to serve as Edo State Governor, his government will not only implement the Child Rights Act, but also come up with the right policies that will promote the children’s social well beings.
The servant of God therefore wished all Edo children a happy Children’s Day.
