Girl Slumps, Dies After Overnight Party

A young girl, simply identified as Iyabo, has slumped and died as she intended taking her bath in a compound at Urban Area in Sapele after overnight party.
It was gathered that she woke up supposedly hail and hearty but suddenly slumped and died as she entered the bathroom to take her bath.
An anonymous source alleged that Iyabo partied all night the day before but came home sober, and wondered what could have caused the sudden death, saying that she did not show any sign of sickness the day before.
The girl’s mother, called Mama Iyabo, is a well-known Amala Ewedu food seller at Larboard Road, Sapele, lamented the sudden demise of her daughter but said that she took solace in Allah.
As at the time of filing this report, the deceased had been buried according to Muslim rite.
