Edo Guber: I Am The Best To Win Edo For LP, Says Imansuangbon, Submit Nomination Forms

A frontline Edo 2024 governorship aspirant on the platform of the Labour Party (LP), Barr. Kenneth Imansuangbon, has said that he remained the only aspirant that can secure victory for the party in the September governorship election.

Imansuangbon popularly known as the ‘Rice Man’ said the Edo governorship polls was between the masses, the state government and the federal government.

He spoke after submitting his nomination and expression interest forms that he represent the masses otherwise known as ‘Street Governor.’

He said he has direct connection to the masses of Edo State because of his antecedents as he is confident that the Edo people will reciprocate his love for them over the years.

The educationist and lawyer also appealed to members and leaders of the LP to allow a free and fair primary and not to be skewed  to the highest bidder.

According to him, “I just submitted my nomination form and I am set for the party primary. The primary is the only hurdle for me because I know I can defeat any candidate presented by both the PDP and the APC. Members of both opposition parties will switch to Labour Party if I win the primary.

“All I am asking for is a free and fair primary. We need it for the unity of our party. I am the best aspirant to win this election for our party. I am the street Governor. I am known by all across the state.

“I can tell you that Edo people are waiting to have me on the ballot because they are tired of the shenanigans of the PDP and APC. Edo cannot afford another another tenure of the present miss governance and it is only the Labour Party that can bring prosperity to the state.”

The National Organizing Secretary of the party, Clement Ojuchukwu,   members of the National Working Committee and the South/South Chairman  of LP Chief Tony Eze-Agu -Agu,  on submission of the forms had  promised that the party will give a free level playing field to all aspirants in the forthcoming primaries.
