The governorship candidate of Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) Mrs. Patience Ndidi Key, paid a scheduled visit to her ancestral home town, Ekheken in Igueben local government area of Edo State to formally inform them of her candidature of the party in the 2024 September 21st governorship election.

Addressing the mammoth crowd at her hometown, Mrs. Patience Ndidi Key said a good masquerade must first learn how to dance at home before going out, hence her homecoming to formally inform, seek the support and prayers from her people of Ekheken of her candidature of PRP in Edo 2024 governorship election.

She added that Edo State will be great again if the right person is voted as governor of Edo State come September 2024 governorship election. She said the suffering and lack of the necessary social amenities will be a thing of the past as governance is about the people, for the people and by the people and not for one individual.

Mrs. Patience Ndidi Key said with her exposure and wealth of experience she is more than ready to replicate it in the state so that the good people of Edo State will have that sense of belongings from the person working in the farm in the village to those in the city, all the necessary social amenities, like good roads, healthcare , improved food production so that there will be food security and security network so that the people can sleep with their two eyes close, be able to move without fear of being attack by herdsmen and hoodlums and many more for the benefit of the people.

While appealing to her constituents for support and collaboration so as to actualize her dreams of taking Edo State to the next level that will be envy of all, Mrs. Ndidi Key appreciated the people for the warm reception accorded her and the entourage and urged them not to relent in prayers as there will always be light at the end of the tunnel.

In his brief remark, the Chairman of Peoples Redemption Party, Edo State, Dr. Greg Igbinomwanhia appreciated the people of Ekheken for the warm reception accorded them and pleaded with the people to continue to support the party and ensure they come out to vote Mrs. Patience Ndidi Key to take the state to the next level.

He pointed out that the Peoples Redemption Party is one of the oldest parties formed with good ideology for the benefits of the masses by the late sage, Aminu Kano and having seen that the other parties that have govern the people both at the state and national levels failed the people and the only option is better society for our generation is Peoples Redemption Party and candidate of the party, Mrs. Patience Ndidi Key to liberate the people of Edo State from the shackles of underdevelopment.

Dr. Igbinomwanhia then called on the people to go out to ganner support for the party’s candidate Mrs. Patience Ndidi Key for her to be victorious come September 2024 .

Also speaking on behalf of the people of Ekheken , Elder Palmer Igbinoba thanked her for the wisdom of coming to inform them of her candidature of the party and seeking support for the governorship election, which he said was a step in the right direction.

He added that as their daughter, they would do everything possible to mobilize support for her to be victorious in the coming governorship election in Edo State but also urged her to do her part to extend her visit to other parts of the local government in particular and Edo State st large.

The head of the men group, Mr. Saturday Owie and the women group Madam Felicia Idiake pledged their loyalty and support Mrs. Patience Ndidi Key project in the forthcoming Edo 2025 governorship election.

The highpoint of the visit was prayer for Mrs. Patience Ndidi Key and words of encouragement from the elders for her to be successful in the forthcoming September 21 governorship election in Edo State.
