NIGERIA DEVELOPMENT: Former House Of Reps Candidate Advocats For More Educational Funding

A former Oredo House of Representatives candidate under the platform of African Democratic Congress, (ADC), Mr. Efosa Omo Osagie also known as “Mighty Man” has solicited for more funding of Education sector in Nigeria as it remains the bedrock of any meaningful development in the country.

Efosa Omo Osagie made the remark while feilding questions from journalists immediately after obtaining his Masters Degree Certificate at the prestigious University of Benin (UNIBEN) 49th and 50th  Convocation ceremony.

He said Nigeria is currently not moving forward today because those that has the genuine academic pursuit has not been given the privilege to lead.

The former House of Representatives candidate said developed country are able to thrive in all sectors of life because they have laid more emphasis and given  funding of Education priority in the scheme of things.

He express pains to see most Nigeria relocating because of the government zero interest in Educational sector a situation he described as unfortunate. 

The UNIBEN public administration master degree holder said all hope seems not to have lost as the government can retrace their steps and increase funding of Education in Nigeria. 

He assured that his acquiring of additional educational knowledge will propel him to see how he can contribute more to  the development of his own state Edo.
