Engr. Glory Momodu Felicitates Muslims on Eid-el-Kabir
A frontline Edo Central Senatorial By-Election Aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Glory Oziegbe Momodu has felicitates with Muslims faithful in Edo State particularly those in Edo Central Senatorial District, as they celebrate Eid-el-Adha, widely regarded as the feast of sacrifice by adherents of Islam.
Engr. Momodu who stated this in his Eid-el-Kabir message made available to newsmen in Abuja, urged Edo Central Muslim faithful, to celebrate the day in a peaceful manner, pray to Almighty Allah to grant their heart desires.
He urged Muslims to absorb the lessons of the sacrifice made by Prophet Ibrahim and to, at all times, focus on unity, peace, and progress of the State and Esanland.
According to him, “On behalf of my family and the good people of Edo State, I wish all our Muslim brothers and sisters in Edo Central Senatorial District a happy and peaceful Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
“As we celebrate this year’s Eid-al-Adha, I reprimand all Muslim faithful to adhere to the Islamic faith, to continue on the path of spirituality and peaceful coexistence and absorb the lessons of the sacrifice made by Holy Prophet Ibrahim.
Going further, the Edo Central Senatorial APC Aspirant noted that Eid-al-Adha is a symbolic event in the history of mankind, particularly for Muslims, given the munificent prizes that followed the endurance and persistence of Prophet Ibrahim, who held on persistently to his faith in Allah despite being afflicted.
