Hon. John Yakubu Mourns Passage of Tom Irehobhude

A frontline Edo Central Senatorial Aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the August 16 2025 Senatorial By-Election, Hon. John Ehibhatioman Yakubu has expressed his sadness over the sudden death of Hon. Tom Irebobhude, an All Progressives Congress (APC) leader in Easn West local government area of Edo State.
Hon. Tom Irebobhude hails from Ujemen in Esan West Local Government Area of Edo State. His death occurred on Tuesday, 1st July, 2025 after a brief illness.
In a press statement personally signed by Hon. John Yakubu and made available to newsmen in Benin, he described Hon. Tom Irehobhude as a jolly good fellow who will be deeply miss by his friends, associates and immediate and extended families.
According to Hon. John Yakubu, “This is indeed is a great loss, not only to his immediate family but to the entire people of Edo Central Senatorial District in particular and Edo State at large.
“Hon. Tom Irehobhude was a committed party leader, and a man who served with passion, courage, and dedication. His absence will be deeply felt.
“May God forgive his shortcomings, grant him eternal rest, and give his family the strength to bear this irreplaceable loss.”
The PDP Senatorial Aspirant who emphasized that the life time of Hon. Tom Irehobhude worth emulating pray that God Almighty in His infinite mercy grant him eternal rest in His bosom.
