An Edo-born German-based security expert, Hon. Samson Jack Idelegbagbon, has announced plans to launch the IJS Security Guard Academy and Services in Edo State. The initiative is designed to complement the efforts of the Edo State Security Network in addressing the growing challenges of insecurity across the state.
According to Hon. Idelegbagbon, the establishment of the IJS Security Academy will provide professional security training, surveillance support, and emergency response coordination, thereby strengthening local security operations and empowering youths with employable skills in the field of safety and defense.
He noted that the project aims to bridge the gap between local security needs and modern international security standards, leveraging his vast experience in Europe to improve intelligence gathering, community safety, and crime prevention strategies within Edo State.
Hon. Idelegbagbon reaffirmed his commitment to partnering with Edo government agencies, traditional institutions, and community vigilante groups to enhance peace and protect lives and property across the state.
The proposed IJS Security Guard Academy and Services is expected to commence operations soon in the State, signaling a new phase in the collective effort to secure and stabilize communities for sustainable development.
