The people of Iguoshodi-Nikpemaba in Ovia North-East local government area of Edo State has unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the leadership of the community headed by Pa. Johnson Ahanor – Odionwere, Prince Peter Eweka – Chairman of Elders Council, and Kenneth Omorogbe Okaighele of the community.
This assertion was made in an enlarged meeting of the Elders in Council, Youths and Women held at the community Oguedion (Ancestral Centaury).
Speaking to journalists during the enlarge meeting, Pa Matthew Igbinosun said they decided to call journalists to debunk one video going on in the social media, with intent to give the community a bad name and to cause problem for them.

Pa Igbinosun pointed out that the said video on social media is not only false and misinforming but an attempt by the perpetrators to cause division in the community and should be disregarded.
“I want to use this occasion to tell all and sundry that Pa Johnson Ahanor remains our Odionwere of Iguoshodi-Nikpemaba community, there was never any time he was removed, the Oba put him there as the Odionwere and he remains the Odionwere”.
Continuing Pa Igbinosun, the Ozukpogieva (second in command) subsequently added that the only Okaighele in the community that was appointed by the Odionwere, Pa Johnson Ahanor is Kenneth Omoregbe in conjunction with the elders and people of the community and there is no division, the people are living together as one and anything more than that should be disregarded.

Also speaking the Ozukpogieha (third in command), Pa Henry Onaghino added that there are no issues in the community, the purported video on social media is misleading as the people are living in harmony with each other; the Odionwere Pa Johnson Ahanor remains the Odionwere and the Okaighele, Kenneth Omoregbe as well, remain the Okaighele of the community.

Until the Odionwere said he no longer need his service as the Okaighele, Kenneth Omorogbee remain our Okaighele,” he said.
