The leadership of Africa Democratic Congress (ADC), Oredo chapter on Monday recommended former Chairman of the Oredo Local Government Council, Hon. Dr. Mike Nosa Ehima for Edo State Chairman of the party.
In an election conduct today at the residence of Pa. Mathias Ogunsuyi, a leader of the party, with 29 ADC leaders in attendance, Ehima was chosen ahead of Chief Anthony Alile
After accreditation, the 29 Oredo leaders of the party who were present at the meeting were made to vote in a secret ballot for the candidate of their choice.
The voting which was supervised by Chief Efe Amenze, supported by Princess Ehanire saw Hon. Nosa-Ehima poll 25 votes while his opponent, Chief polled 4 votes.
Recalled that ADC Edo State, zoned the Chairmanship position to Edo South Senatorial District.
In furtherance of this, the Edo South leadership unanimously zoned the seat to Oredo Loca! Government Area.
