The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GOLDWATER GLOBAL TELECOMS and Pioneer CED Phone Repair Trainer at the University of Benin, Mr. Peter Osayuwamen Omoregie on Friday (10th of April, 2026) led a delegation of students and faculty of the University of Benin (UNIBEN) on a heartfelt condolence visit to Rt. Hon. Dennis Idahosa, Deputy Governor of Edo State over the death of his mother, Madam Esther Imaguomwanruo Idahosa (nee Enabulele), who passed on at the age of 95.

Speaking on behalf of the team, Mr. Peter Omoregie described the news of the matriarch’s passing as deeply saddening, even as it acknowledged her remarkable life of service, a woman of strong faith, and a pillar of the community, an icon of hope and a mother to all.

Omoregie noted that the late Madam Idahosa’s permanency and impactful heritage were clear testimonies to a life well lived, branded by strength of character, wisdom, and enduring values.

According to him, “Madam Idahosa’s death represents not only a personal loss to the deputy governor and the Idahosa and Enabulele families, but also a significant loss to the wider community that benefitted from her exemplary life and motherly guidance.”

Omoregie prayed that God Almighty would grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and repose the soul of the deceased.

“The University of Benin gadget repairs and skill acquisition trainers, students, and faculty stand firmly with him, praying for strength, good health, and continued leadership. Your Excellency, your dedication to Edo State and its people is truly inspiring. We will always send our prayers for more strength and good health. Your leadership quality is recognised, and your contributions to make Edo great will never be forgotten, sir. You are a true leader, and Edo State is proud of you!”

Welcoming the team, comprising students and faculty from the University of Benin, the Deputy Governor reaffirming his unwavering commitment to Edo State’s youth and development, reflecting his dedication to serving Edolites with compassion and vision.

Deputy Governor Idahosa further highlighted his steadfast support for youth empowerment and progress and assured the delegation, including the students, that they are always welcome to be part of the burial process and expressed his commitment to supporting the youth for a better Edo State and Nigeria.

“Despite his grief, Deputy Governor Idahosa showed remarkable strength and high leadership quality, embodying the spirit of service to Edo State and Nigeria. His amazing smiles and warm interactions with visitors underscore his genuine dedication to the people. He is indeed a beacon of hope and a champion of the youth,” Mr. Omoregie added.
