The Managing Director of the Edo State Waste Management Board, (EWMB), Ambassador Dr. Lucky Enehita-Inegbenehi has been honoured with a Lifetime Achievement Award by Stars Award International (SAI) for his outstanding commitment to environmental sanitation and public service.
The award ceremony, held at Bay Flowers, Benin City, Edo State capital had in attendance gospel artists, music producers, and notable business owners.
Receiving the award on behalf of the Managing Director, the Head of Commercial at the Board, Mr. Martins Akhighe, described the recognition as timely and motivating. He noted that waste management is a demanding task whose impact is often overlooked.
According to him, “Waste management is not easy. You do a lot, but yet, people see very little. This award is unique because it recognizes the work we have done and inspires us to do more.”
He added that Amb. Enehita-Inegbenehi remains focused on delivering the governor’s vision of making Edo State the cleanest in Nigeria.
“Our Managing Director is committed to ensuring Edo becomes the number one cleanest state in the country. He is working tirelessly to achieve that goal,” he stated.
Earlier, the Founder and President of Stars Award International, Pastor Peace Osas, said the organization celebrates gospel artists, producers, and individuals whose outstanding contributions inspire excellence and make meaningful impacts in their fields.
He noted that the awards promote excellence, service, and positive influence by recognizing deserving personalities whose work continues to transform lives and communities.
