The Oredo Federal House of Representatives Candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the 2027 general elections. Dr. Osamwonyi William Irowa has described Chief Sam Igbe, the Iyase of Benin Kingdom, as a humanist, administrator, educationist and a philanthropist extra ordinaire.
Dr. Irowa stated this on Thursday during his felicitation visit to the house of the revered Traditional Prime Minister and highest-ranking high chief of Benin Kngdom, Chief Sam Igbe, the Iyase of Benin Kingdom as he marks his 97th birthday celebration.
Speaking, the Oredo ADC Federal House of Representatives Candidate noted that Chief Sam Igbe MON, is an uncompromising purist, incorruptible crusader against social misconduct, a cultural icon and social critic.
“My most respect Traditional Prime Minister of Benin Kingdom, you have long been preparing yourself for a respectable leadership role in the affairs of your community and the larger society.
“This is one way of explaining that you have spent a good part of your life for self-development through education and management training. In your iron determination to succeed in life, you were not to be deterred by any obstacle on your way.
“It is not easy to get to this age. Happy birthday to you Chief! And I pray to Almighty God and our Ancestors to grant you good health and strength to continue your good work in promoting our rich and cultural heritage not only to Nigeria but across the globe,” he said.
In his response, Chief Sam Igbe, appreciated Dr. Irowa for finding is worthy to join his family to celebrate his new age noting that on several occasions he visited Dr. Irowa Hospital for treatment, he admired the good hospital and manner in which he and staff handled patients in the hospital.
He pray to God Almighty and the Ancestors to guide and protect Dr. Irowa as he embark on his campaign across every nook and cranny of Oredo local government to ensure he emerged victorious at the poll come 2027 general elections.
