The Management Committee today advised Agbo Sellers to remove such harmful liquid substances from circulation before 20th Septemger, 2026 to avoid a total crackdown during statewide enforcement.
In a by the Management Committee of Edo State Consumer Protection Committee disclosed that the committee has been inundated with reports that Agbo Sellers are enhancing their products with sachet Gin and other harmful substances.
To this end, the committee therefore advised all Agbo Sellers in Edo State to remove such harmful liquid substances from circulation before 20th September, 2026 to avoid a total crackdown during our statewide enforcement.
The Committee stated that its remains committed to protecting the health and safety of consumers across the 18 Local Government Areas of Edo State.
