EDOGIS Opens New Offices In Edo Central, North

In a bid to take its services closer to the grassroots, the State Geographic Information Service (EDOGIS) has opened two new offices in the state.
The Edo State Geographic Information Service (EDOGIS) is mandated to administer land resources in the state, thereby computerizing land across the state.
In a press statement signed by the Director of Information, Tunde Egbiremolen and made available to newsmen disclosed that the offices are in Ekpoma, Esan West local government area in Edo Central and another in Auchi, Etsako West in Edo North of the state.
According to the Egbiremolen, EDOGIS is mandated to administer land resources in the state through computerizing land across the state.
He noted that the Executive Governor of Edo State, Senator Monday Okpebholo-led administration has found it necessary to take the services to the grassroots, because of his government desire to reduce land crisis amongst the citizenry.
The Edo State Geographic Information Service (EDOGIS) office in Ekpoma is located at the Esan West Local Government Council Secretariat along Ekpoma-Benin expressway and Auchi office is at Etsako West Local Government Secretariat building Auchi.
