The Aiguobasinmwin Movement, a socio-cultural organization dedicated to the advancement and defense of the Benin Nation, has extended sincerest congratulations to Prof. Mrs. Idia Nibokun Ize-Iyamu as the substantive Chief Medical Director (CMD) of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) by His Excellency, Senator Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu GCFR, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
This was contained in a press statement signed by Mr. Iyamu Osaro Culture and Mr. Osayuki Osa-Benson, President and Secretary General respectively of the Movement and made available to newsmen in Benin, Edo State capital.
This appointment the Movement noted is a testament to Prof. Idia Ize-Iyamu’s outstanding medical expertise and leadership abilities.
According to the Movement, “We are grateful to God Almighty and our Ancestors that our struggle for the appointment of new CMD who doesn’t have affiliation with the outgone CMD of University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Professor Darlington Obaseki whose records of performance was characterized with failures and misappropriation is not in vain.
“We want to also express our deepest appreciation to Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria for appointing highly qualified individuals like you into key positions.
“We are confident that you will make significant contributions to the institution’s growth and development. We wish you a successful tenure, filled with growth, opportunities, and accomplishments.
