President of the Nigerian Association of Orthodontists (NAO), Prof. Idia Ize-Iyamu has expressed appreciation to Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo and other dignitaries who identified with her on the occasion of her investiture as the 10th President of NAO.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Benin and signed by the President of the Nigerian Association of Orthodontists (NAO), Prof. Idia Ize-Iyamu expressed gratutide to all eminent personalities who honoured her, including Governor Monday Okpebholo and all outgone Executive of NAO and the organizers for their tireless efforts in making the day a success.

The statement reads, “I am profoundly grateful to God Almighty and to every one of you who joined me yesterday at my investiture as President of the Nigerian Association of Orthodontists (NAO). Your presence, prayers, and goodwill made the occasion truly remarkable and memorable.

“I extend my heartfelt appreciation to His Excellency, Senator Monday Okpebholo, Executive Governor of Edo State, his entourage, the SSG, and Office of the First Lady for gracing the event with their presence. I am equally grateful to other eminent personalities who honoured us, the outgone Executive of NAO for their remarkable service, and the organizers for their tireless efforts in making the day a success.

“Special thanks also go to the Management and Staff of UBTH for their immense support, my professional colleagues for their solidarity, and my dear family whose prayers, encouragement, and sacrifices made this milestone possible. To friends and well-wishers who stood by me in diverse ways, I say a big thank you. Your encouragement strengthens my resolve to serve with dedication, integrity, and vision.

“Together, we shall continue to advance the cause of orthodontics and contribute meaningfully to the growth of healthcare in Nigeria.
