…Says Charles was a committed party stalwart, a devoted leader and a true progressive

The Edo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Saturday described Late Hon. Charles Idahosa, former State Commissioner for Information and Orientation as a loyal and dedicated members of the party whose contributions to the growth, consolidation, and grassroots strength of the party in the State were significant and enduring.
This was contained in a condolence message signed by the State Publicity Secretary (SPS) of the party, Barr. Peter Uwadiae-Igbinigie and made available to journalists in Benin, the state capital.
The Edo APC SPS stated that the party receives with profound sorrow the news of the passing onto glory of Hon. Charles Idahosa, a committed party stalwart, seasoned political figure, and respected leader.
According to him, Hon. Charles Idahosa was a loyal and dedicated member of the APC whose contributions to the growth, consolidation, and grassroots strength of the party in the State were significant and enduring. “He was deeply involved in party organization, mobilisation, and political engagement, always driven by a strong belief in progressive governance, unity, and service to the people.
“Throughout his political career, Hon. Idahosa distinguished himself as a forthright leader, a dependable party man, and a bridge-builder who worked tirelessly to strengthen internal cohesion and advance the ideals of the APC. His commitment to party discipline, democratic values, and effective leadership earned him the respect of party leaders, colleagues, and supporters across the state.
“Professionally and politically, he brought experience, wisdom, and integrity to every responsibility he undertook. His counsel was valued, his loyalty unquestioned, and his passion for the progress of Edo State unmistakable.”
Going further, Barr. Igbinigie added that Charles Idahosa’s passing is a painful loss not only to his immediate family but also to the entire APC family and the political community in Edo State.
“As we bid farewell to Hon. Charles Idahosa, we take solace in the worthy legacy he leaves behind, a legacy of service, commitment, and loyalty to the progressive cause.
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, political associates, and supporters. We pray that God grants his family the strength to bear this irreparable loss and grants his soul eternal rest,” he said.
