Mr. Maxwell Isima, aspirant for the seat of Chairman, Igueben local Government Council in Edo state, has pledged to complement Governor Monday Okpebholo’s efforts if he secures the ticket of his party, APC and elected during the forthcoming Local Government Council Election in the state.
Isima who commended the governor for his efforts in terms of projects said when elected, he would work to complement the governor’s efforts in Igueben local government area.
He made the pledge in Igueben local government area, when he visited at the weekend on his consultation tour of intent to contest the position of Chairman in the local.government council.
The aspirant, popularly called MR. PHILANTHROPIST, explained that his desire to contest for the seat of Chairman was because of his desire to bring development to his people.
He stated further that his zeal to bring forth the much needed dividends of democracy and the provision of basic amenities to the people motivated him to aspire for the seat of Chairman.
He said Igueben local government area of the State endowed with human, natural, and agricultural potentials which need to be harnessed to improve the economic development of the local government area.
“As a son born and brought up here, I know the yearnings of Igueben people. The residents have been yearning for good local government administration to complement the development Governor Monday Okpebholo is already doing here,” he said.
