Top Nigerian comedians and entertainers, including I Go Dye and Klint Da Drunk, are set to storm Benin City for the highly anticipated “Edo To The World” entertainment and cultural showcase aimed at discovering and promoting emerging talents from Edo State.
The initiative, spearheaded by respected media and events strategist Markus Mckane Okoebor, is being organized by Brotherly Love Entertainment Ltd in collaboration with the Edo State Ministry of Arts, Culture and Creative Economy.
The project, which has already generated excitement within entertainment and youth development circles, is designed to serve as a platform for talent discovery, youth empowerment, and cultural promotion across the state.
Organizers disclosed that activities for the initiative will spread across the 18 local government areas and the three senatorial districts of Edo South, Edo North, and Edo Central to ensure grassroots participation and inclusiveness.
Speaking on the vision behind the project, Markus Mckane noted that Edo State has consistently produced exceptional talents deserving of greater visibility and structured support.
He explained that “Edo To The World” is not just an entertainment event but a movement focused on harnessing creativity and giving young people opportunities to showcase their talents to national and international audiences.
Aside from I Go Dye and Klint Da Drunk, other entertainers expected at the event include Gandoki, Edo Pikin, MC Awilo, Jaytunes, and Prof. Linkin.
Industry stakeholders believe the initiative could further position Edo State as a major destination for entertainment, cultural tourism, and creative talent development in Nigeria.
The grand finale of the event is scheduled for Saturday, June 13, 2026, at the Sir Victor Uwaifo Creative Hub along Airport Road, Benin City.
