Police Arrest 4 Over Murder Of Two In Sapele

Police in Sapele, Delta State have arrested four persons for the murder of a businessman, Dominic Uguru, and his friend, one, Jagbo in Sapele.
Dominic, a businessman and his friend was murdered in his residence on Wednesday, November 16th, along NDDC road in Sapele, and their bodies left in the bathroom.
The four suspects Bright Osifo, (23), Goodness Obade (30), Obunwa Kasim, (25), and Ogadinma Francis (27) was alleged to have broken into Dominic house at about 11pm, demanding the sum of one million naira
A source who craved to be friends with the deceased, craving anonymity told Newsmen that his late friend had just returned from Lagos where he went to buy goods, when the killer’s came.
“Maybe he and his friend would have been alive if he had given them the one million naira, he could only transfer thirty six thousand naira; they killed him and his friend and dragged their bodies to the bathroom.
“They then took his car, shop keys and fled only for two of them to come to the shop along New Ogorode Road. When some persons saw them, they fled but one was caught.
“Dominic’s car was also recovered that day in a compound after Garmon Bridge.
“It was Ogadinma who now led men of the Sapele police station to the other three persons who were arrested on Friday night,” the source said.
The Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, Edafe Bright could not be reached as he did pick his call to confirm the news as at the time of filing in this report.
