Alenkhe Felicitates With Muslims On Eid-el- Fitr

Edo State Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists(NUJ) Comrade Festus Alenkhe has sent a message of felicitation to all Muslims in Edo State on Eid-el- Fitr.
In the statement, Comrade Alenkhe described the celebration as historic and one that renews faith in lslam.
He congratulated all Muslims for holding onto the fasting and ensuring that the Muslim tenets are adhered to strongly.
He stressed the need for the continous prayer for the development and peace of Edo state, Nigeria and the world as a whole.
The statement called for a sustained peaceful co-existence between Christians, Muslims and other religions in Edo State in order to acquire the desired development.
Comrade Festus Alenkhe described Ramadan as one of the five pillars of lslam and Eid-el-Fitr is significant in celebrating the end of a very intense month of fasting, prayer, self reflection and charity.
