CAASVAYE Initiative Spearheads Advocacy For National Social Security Commission Bill 2022
Ailemen Osaretin Aluhumele serves as the Executive Director of the Community Awareness Against Social Vices And Youth Empowerment Initiative (CAASVAYE Initiative), a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting societal change through advocacy, government policy stimulation, and the promotion of an open society.
Since 2018, CAASVAYE Initiative has focused on organizing University Debate Championships and, in 2022, introduced the Citizens Welfare Movement.
This movement aims to advocate for the review and passage of the National Social Security Commission Bill 2022, aligning it with international best practices and mirroring the Social Security Administration of the United States of America.
CAASVAYE Initiative’s approach involves utilizing every legal avenue to raise public awareness of the bill through media campaigns, bringing the government’s attention to the need for the bill’s review, and ensuring the timely passage of the National Social Security Commission Bill 2022 into law.
The organization emphasizes the significant benefits of a well-structured Social Security System, particularly in Africa, given the increasing economic disparities.
Moreover, CAASVAYE Initiative is prepared to provide intellectual resources concerning the sustainability of the National Social Security Commission and the generation of funding through the establishment of agricultural settlements and industrial parks.
Their multifaceted approach underscores the organization’s commitment to addressing social welfare issues comprehensively.
