BEDC Looses PRO Adekunle Anthony Tayo

The death of the Head of Corporate Affairs Unit of the Benin Electricity Distribution Company Plc, (BEDC), Adekunle Anthony Tayo has been announced by the management of the company.
In a press statement issued and signed by the management, said, ” With grief and heavy hearts, the Management and Staff of BEDC Electricity Plc. wishes to inform you of the demise of our beloved colleague, friend, team lead and an amazing compatriot, Adekunle Anthony Tayo, who passed away early hours of Saturday 28th, August 2021 after a brief illness.
“Tayo contributed positively to ensuring that stakeholders (Press, Customers, etc.) were well informed of ongoing activities in the company. Amongst others, he was very passionate about customer complaints and took it upon himself most times to resolve customer issues during his various radio appearances.
He is survived by his wife, 3 children and relatives.
”Tayo, will be sorely missed by all. We pray that the Lord grants him eternal rest and comforts his family as they grief.
“May his soul rest in perfect peace.
Funeral arrangement will be as announced by family ,” the statement concluded.
Late Adekunle Anthony Tayo joined BEDC team in March 2015. Tayo/PRO (as he is often fondly called) was the Head of Corporate Affairs Unit and worked at the Head Office where he championed the company’s public, mainstream and social media relations efficaciously for many years.
