The member representing Ikpoba Okha/Egor Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. Jude Ise-Idehen has advocated the need for constant human capacity building as a way of creating self employment and enhancement of conflict management.

The Federal lawmaker made the statement during the training of over 200 women and youths on shoe making and bag production organized by the National Assembly member as part of his constituency projects in conjunction with the Peace and Conflict Resolution Committee of the federal government.

The training programme which is one of the numerous constituency projects carried out by Jude Ise-Idehen since assuming office attracted women and youths drawn from Egor and Ikpoba Okha local government areas of Edo State.

With the concept of human capacity building which Jude Ise Idehen has been known for, those that participated in the training were empowered to enable them set up their own businesses.

The House of Representatives member, Hon. Jude Ise Idehen said, in view of limited job opportunities in the country, the best way to go is self employment hence the reason for the training of women and youths from his constituency.

He urged the trainees to use their new skills to impact positively on their lives and the society at large.

The consultant for the programme, Engineer George Anigboro commended Hon. Jude Ise-Idehen for facilitating the programme to his constituency.

Some participants appreciated the facilitator Hon. Jude Ise-Idehen for giving them the opportunity to acquire knowledge and skills.

They assured him that the gesture will go along way not only to put food on their table but made them business owners of their own.

With the completion of the two weeks course, the trainees were empowered with the facilities and funds to enable them start up their own by the National Assembly member Hon. Jude Ise-Idehen representing Egor/Ikpoba Okha Federal Constituency amidst jubilation by the beneficiaries.
